HSH Verified Host Family | Taiwan
We are a well-off family consisting of a married couple and a set of twins. Currently, our twin children are studying in the United States and living with a host family. We have an available room at home and would like to take this opportunity to host a foreign student who is studying Mandarin in Taiwan, hoping to gain a deeper understanding of foreign cultures.
My husband and I have been backpackers to visit 26 countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa within four and a half months. We love traveling and making friends with different cultures and cuisines.
I teach junior high school students English in Taipei, Taiwan. My husband is a product manager in the high-tech industry.
Currently, we have a daughter and a son. We look forward to meeting foreigners and hope our kids can be involved in different cultures.
We are a couple who have a great affection for children. We are blessed with three wonderful children. My husband is the director of an OTC listing company, and I am a dedicated housewife. I enjoy the routine of preparing three meals a day with love and care.
As a family, we would love to open our doors as a host family. Our main motivation behind this decision is twofold. Firstly, we believe that hosting can greatly contribute to enhancing everyone’s language proficiency, creating a more enriched environment for all. Secondly, we are eager to broaden our children’s horizons and expose them to different cultures and perspectives, thus nurturing a global worldview.
We are excited about the opportunity to welcome new members into our family, and we hope to create a warm and inclusive environment for everyone.
The couple has embraced the empty nest stage of life. The husband is employed in the science and technology sector, while the wife teaches at an American language cram school.
Our daily routines are well-established, and enjoy leisurely strolls and hiking in the countryside during their vacations. We have extensive experience in independent travel and have made friends from all corners of the globe.
During my junior high school years, I had the incredible opportunity to study in Australia for a year. Additionally, during my university summer break, I attended an American language school to further enhance my language skills.
During both experiences, I had the privilege of staying with local host families who warmly cared for and introduced me to their culture. These memories remain dear to my heart.
Now, as my children are studying in university and high school, living on campus, I aspire to once again immerse myself in diverse foreign cultures and provide my family with the opportunity to learn and experience languages together.
We are a young family consisting of two individuals, both alumni of National Taiwan University. We enjoy learning languages, reading books, and watching TV series in our spare time. We have no vices or undesirable habits. Besides being passionate about international diplomacy, we also aspire to “experience” the impact of different cultures.
Our home on Bao Ping Road was renovated last year, so the facilities and space are all brand new. We hope to create an environment that will make international students feel at home, and if given the opportunity, we would be delighted to host the foreign students.
